About the Fieldhouse Raiders Softball Club
The Fieldhouse Raiders Softball Club has been founded to provide a professional development program to athletes who want the opportunity to play softball at a high level. We look for athletes who want to be challenged on an every day basis and who are determined to improve on the sport for which they have a passion.

The Raiders program offers an opportunity to play the sport of softball at the highest level. Our staff believes that in order to create U.S. college recruits, players need to compete against others who are at a high level and striving towards the same goal. Therefore, we will be affiliated with the PWSA, and will be entering U.S. tournaments run by reputable organizations such as PGF, ASA, and NSA.

How to Tryout
Athletes looking to play for the Raiders program must attend open fall tryouts and be selected by the coaching staff based on: athletic ability, consistency, “coachability”, softball IQ, hustle, and commitment.

Tryout dates and times based on age group will be posted on our website (coming soon), twitter, and at Fieldhouse in late August and early September.

Competition and Training
Raiders teams will train 4-7 days per week with sessions ranging from 1-2 hours from October to May inside Fieldhouse Athletics training facility.

Exhibition games will be played against PWSA affiliated teams and will be selected based on competition level. In addition, Raiders teams will play a schedule of weekend tournaments throughout the U.S., which is determined by the coaching staff.

Commitment
The Raiders Softball Program is a big commitment for athletes and their families, it’s not for everyone. Raiders athletes will be those who are committed in all aspects of their lives to get to the next level.

The Fieldhouse Raiders Softball Club Philosophy
The Fieldhouse Raiders Softball Club is committed to providing our players with the knowledge and skills to prepare them for the next level. We will not just be training our athletes on the physical aspects of the game, but also the mental. We believe in order to develop well-rounded athletes, physical and mental toughness are BOTH essential.
